We have a 600 X 40 foot paved runway and covered pits.

SHARKS FIELD RULES
1. All members and guests must abide by the AMA Safety Code.
2. All motors larger than .19 ci. are required to have a muffler.
3. Pilots will place their valid AMA card with a current SHARKS sticker on the Frequency Board before removing the frequency pin. If the desired frequency is in use you may place your AMA card BEHIND the AMA card of the pilot in possession of that frequency pin and wait your turn. The frequency pin MUST be in your possession before you turn your transmitter on.
4. The frequency pin with the channel numbers should be displayed on the transmitter antenna during flight.
5. All takeoffs and landings will be made into the wind. In the absence of wind, takeoffs and landings will be made from North to South. When flying in proximity to the runway the direction of flight should be with the flow of traffic. All airplane flying MUST be done to the EAST OF THE EXTENDED RUNWAY CENTERLINE WITHIN THE FENCED FIELD AREA! This will prevent over flight of the Control Line/ Helicopter flight areas on the North end of the Field. Flight over the adjacent property to the South of the field must be kept to a minimum! All Hand launches must be carried out away from the pit area and from a point in front of the pilot stations. AT NO TIME IS FLYING OVER THE HIGHWAY WEST OF THE FIELD PERMITTED!!! THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!!!
6. All helicopter training and hovering practice will be done at the North end of the field in the Control Line circle. Helicopters are permitted in the normal Traffic pattern provided they follow the prevailing fixed-wing pattern of Flight. Helicopters will be carried to the junction of the taxiway and the Approach end of the runway for takeoff and hovered to the same spot for Pick up after landing. Extended hovering over the runway is not permitted.
7. Pilots should stand in the designated pilot stations while they are flying. All Pilots are responsible for informing other pilots of their intentions (i.e. Entering the runway, leaving the runway, landing or possible problems). Anyone walking onto the runway must make sure ALL pilots in the air Understand the runway is occupied and must let the other pilots know when the Runway is cleared.
8. All visitors, family members and unsupervised individuals not engaged in flight operations must remain behind the designated spectator line. Children and Pets MUST be supervised and accompanied by an adult while on Club property.
9. Care must be exercised when in the Pit area. Aircraft taxing out of the pits must use the East edge of the taxiway. Aircraft returning to the pits must stop at the safety fence line on the taxiways and stop the motor(s). Under no circumstances should any aircraft be taxied into the pits or under the pit awning. Starting motor(s) under the awning is permissible, however, extended high RPM running and tuning of motors should be done in the run-up areas at either end of the field. Be considerate of other modelers when running up your model; avoid damaging someone else’s model with your prop wash!
10. All SHARKS members are responsible for maintaining the club field. Small trash should be placed in the cans located around the field, large pieces of trash including fuel jugs, boxes and large pieces of crashed models should be taken to the member’s home for disposal. Cigarette butts should be placed in the butt cans located on the poles in the pit area. The last member(s) leaving the field each day are responsible for making sure all Club property (chairs, flagpole, etc.) are placed inside the clubhouse and locking the Clubhouse AND the main gate upon leaving. Do NOT leave a non-club member at the field to lock up.
